PMG Wins Multiple Awards for Social Media in NYC During Advertising Week
In many organizations, the first step toward advancing a more durable measurement roadmap is educating stakeholders on how the privacy-first digital media ecosystem works, what’s changing, and outlining clear best practices and next steps for building durable data and measurement programs.
This week, New York City was the place to be for the biggest names and companies in marketing, media, and entertainment, as the city hosted Advertising Week, one of the industry’s biggest celebrations of ideas and creative vision. Coinciding with the festivities were major conferences from the IAB and MediaPost, including their annual awards galas. It was at those events that PMG won three awards in recognition of the agency’s success across social media.
On Monday night, PMG won two trophies at MediaPost’s OMMA Awards in the following categories for its work for Beats by Dre.
Best Social Campaign Across Platforms
Best Viral Campaign
The winning effort was Beats by Dre’s Straight Outta Somewhere campaign, which received some of the highest scores in the entire competition.
The following night, the IAB honored PMG at its annual MIXX Awards. The acclaim was also for PMG’s success on behalf of Beats by Dre in #StraightOutta, and the agency won in the category of Social: Real-Time Engagement.
This year was the second in a row in which PMG was nominated for MIXX Awards, and was the first time the agency brought home the prize.
“Winners of the IAB MIXX Awards redefine the boundaries of digital marketing,” said David Doty, Executive Vice President and CMO, IAB. “This year’s stellar work harnesses the latest interactive tools and technologies and exhibits great imagination and innovative storytelling – a potent combination that delivers real-world results for top brands.”
