PMG Named to Top 100 Companies in Dallas
In many organizations, the first step toward advancing a more durable measurement roadmap is educating stakeholders on how the privacy-first digital media ecosystem works, what’s changing, and outlining clear best practices and next steps for building durable data and measurement programs.
Last night, the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at the SMU Cox School of Business recognized PMG as one of Dallas’ top private companies, naming the digital company to its Dallas 100™ list. The annual honors celebrate the innovative spirit, determination and business savvy of area entrepreneurs, and saluted the diversity, creativity, and resolve it takes to create and sustain a successful business in today’s competitive environment.
This year’s winning companies collectively generated $3.5 billion in sales in 2018, according to Simon Mak, the Linda A. and Kenneth R. Morris Endowed Director of the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at SMU Cox. Collectively, the companies grew at an average annual growth rate of 82 percent from 2016 to 2018. Together, they created almost 7,000 jobs in that same period.
All Dallas 100 companies are independent, privately held corporations, proprietorships, or partnerships (not subsidiaries or divisions of a parent company) headquartered in the Dallas Metroplex area, and were chosen based on revenue growth during the past three years.
“These companies are the unsung heroes of the Dallas-area economy,” said Mak. “They are entrepreneurial dynamos, creating products and/or services that in turn create jobs and generate income for their owners, not to mention the millions of dollars they collectively contribute to our economy.”
According to the Dallas Business Journal, PMG has the second-largest workforce in the Dallas-Fort Worth advertising industry, and it recently announced a massive expansion of its Dallas office in the Oak Lawn/Uptown area. In September, Adweek also ranked PMG as the fastest-growing U.S.-based large global agency.
PMG’s growth and contribution to the Metroplex’s business community was also recognized in the fall by the Fort Worth Business Press, which included the company in its own rankings of the top 100 companies based in Fort Worth.
