From haunted houses, to carving pumpkins to dressing up in festive costumes and trick-or-treating, Halloween is a day of spooky fun and ghoulish treats, with a community vibe to it. Some believe it evolved from the ancient Celtic holiday of Samhain. The Celts used the day we know now as Halloween to mark the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter, and also believed that this transition between the seasons was a bridge to the world of the dead, according to history.com. The holiday we now know as Halloween is believed to be over 2,000 years old!

Here at PMG we take Halloween seriously as a day to let down our hair and have a little agency life fun! This year we had characters from Harry Potter, Wednesday from the Addams Family, a scary clown, a Christmas tree, a ketchup bottle and many more creative concoctions. We finished the day with a little agency party, cookies and candy included, a friendly pumpkin carving competition and other family-friendly activities. Because at the end of the day, if you can’t have a little fun with your coworkers then what’s the point?!

David Gong, Account Director at PMG, said it best – Life is short, and we want to spend our waking hours with people we have fun working with. Hope everyone had a ghoulish (awesome) Halloween, because we sure did!
