In many organizations, the first step toward advancing a more durable measurement roadmap is educating stakeholders on how the privacy-first digital media ecosystem works, what’s changing, and outlining clear best practices and next steps for building durable data and measurement programs.

As part of The Drum’s Data Deep Dive, PMG’s senior director of programmatic Justin Scarborough joined other advertising executives and The Drum’s Chris Sutcliffe for a podcast discussion focused on data and how marketers can plan for its future usage. 

Justin spoke about the role partners can play for their customers as an external party that is able to objectively assess an organization’s data infrastructure, clean it up, and set the foundation for long term enterprise needs. And after a marketer has its data house in order, agencies and consultancies should guide the brand on which publisher relationships to build and maintain, and which integrations are worth pursuing over the long run—decisions that are critical as brands make plans on how to sync and pass on first-party data.
