PMG Wins Internet Advertising Competition Award

FORT WORTH — PMG and Beats by Dre have been selected as the winners of the 2016 Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Award for Best Electronics Social Media Campaign. The award was given for the record-setting Straight Outta Somewhere campaign that helped launch the NWA biopic movie, Straight Outta Compton. The annual awards, now in their 14th year, are produced by the Web Marketing Association to recognize outstanding online advertising in all of its various forms.
“We’ve now won multiple awards for the #StraightOutta campaign, which is a testament to the great work done, and the amazing results achieved,” said George Popstefanov, founder and CEO of PMG. “We’re honored to be recognized alongside some of the best brands and agencies in the digital industry.”
With the #StraightOutta campaign, PMG helped Beats by Dre become the first brand ever to become the top trending topic on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram simultaneously. The campaign was also recently recognized by the Shorty Awards with two honors.
