PMG Named a Finalist For Three 2018 OMMA Awards
MediaPost recently named PMG a finalist across three categories in the 2018 OMMA Awards. The collective efforts between PMG and Beats by Dre on the #AboveTheNoise campaign was named a finalist in the Sports/Live Events category. In addition to the #AboveTheNoise campaign, PMG’s work for Beats by Dre on the #1of1 campaign was named a finalist in both the Retail and Social: Use of Single Platform categories.
The #AboveTheNoise campaign featuring Conor McGregor was a knockout. The “Dedicated” film, one of the most influential pieces of content from the campaign, compiled 54 million views and saw a 96% positive sentiment overall; a reflection of how well the campaign’s messaging resonated with fans. Social engagement was intense with Beats picking up 58k followers across social platforms during fight week.
On the flipside, the #1of1 campaign was designed to celebrate the power of individuality in today’s noisy world. The campaign asked almost 100 of the biggest names in music, sports, and culture to answer the simple question: “What’s a mantra that helps you stay above the noise?” In just one day, the #1of1 campaign received over 10.7 million true engagements and was mentioned online over 282k times and added 40k new followers to Beats’ social channels.
