PMG Earns Two Social Buzz Award Nominations
The Drum recently named PMG a finalist for two Social Buzz Awards for PMG’s work for Beats by Dre across two different campaigns. The UK-based competition recognizes work across the globe for social media excellence.
PMG’s #BeHeard campaign for Beats by Dre was nominated in the Best Social Event category. The effort was a cross-agency collaboration that centered on boxer Anthony Joshua and his historic heavyweight fight against Wladimir Klitschko. Racking up more than 11.4 million video views and reaching 42 million people, the campaign elevated Beats’ profile among targeted European consumers and separated the brand from the competition.
The second nomination was in the Best Use of Video category for PMG’s work during the #GotNoStrings campaign. The campaign film received over 24 million views and showcased Beats ambassadors dancing through the motions of life to “I’ve Got No Strings” from Disney’s Pinocchio. With the goal of inspiring people to adopt the wireless lifestyle, PMG was able to help Beats set new financial performance benchmarks during the key holiday shopping season.
